Amartya Sen: No magic bullet for inequality

Nobel Prize winning economist Amartya Sen tells Today inequality is getting worse but wage caps are not the answer, as a much "bigger programme" is needed.

He is responding to Oxfam's findings which suggest the world's eight richest individuals have as much wealth as the 3.6 billion people who make up the poorest half of the world.
