Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes cast in clay

As the final series of Downton Abbey screens on UK TV its creator Julian Fellowes is showing no signs of taking it easy, with the writer, director and actor penning a Broadway musical and an American TV series.

But before he heads to the US, Fellowes has given his support to the Stroke Association.

The charity asked the writer to sit and be sculpted, in under two hours and in front of an audience, by royal sculptor Frances Segelman.

This is how the likeness was created.
