'Birthplace of cinema' reopens in London

The birthplace of British cinema is re-opening its doors following a multi-million pound restoration project.

It is almost 120 years since the UK's first public screening of a moving picture at the Regent Street Cinema in London.

The Lumiere Brothers' Cinematographe showed a train moving into a station, and at the time it left the audience so astounded they thought it was actually coming towards them.

BBC Breakfast's Graham Satchell reports.
