The Interview: Reaction to decision to cancel release

Sony Pictures has cancelled the release of a comedy about a plot to kill the leader of North Korea, after hackers threatened to target cinemas showing the movie.

The studio had already said that movie theatres did not have to show The Interview - which was scheduled for release in the US on Christmas Day - but decided to pull the release entirely after major cinema chains decided not to show the movie.

These people in New York were surprised by the decision.
