Will hacker threats stop people going to The Interview?

The New York premiere of The Interview, a comedy about the assassination of North Korea's president, has been cancelled following threats from a hacking group.

Hackers from the same group which has released emails and data stolen from Sony Pictures have threatened to attack US cinemas showing the studio's film.

A number of US cinemas have said that they will not show the movie. But will the threats stop people from going to see the film?
