Terry Gilliam on the 'miracle of Robin Williams'
Actor and comedian Terry Gilliam has paid tribute to the late actor Robin Williams, who has died at the age of 63.
"I don't think I've met anyone as exceptional as Robin was," Gilliam told the BBC, describing the comedian's talent as a "miracle".
The former Python star directed Williams in the film The Fisher King, for which he won a Golden Globe.
He spoke to BBC presenter Gavin Esler about his friend and colleague via a video call.
