Giant Cocoon on display at the Serpentine

A giant cocoon or a stone age spaceship? This is the latest temporary pavilion at the Serpentine Gallery in London which opens to the public later this week.

It is the work of Chilean architect Smildjan Radic and inside will be as usual a café and exhibition space.

Brenda Emmanus has been down to Kensington Gardens to have a closer look.
