Catholic nun wins Italy's version of The Voice

A nun has won Italy's version of the television talent contest The Voice, a show that has made her an internet sensation.

Sister Cristina Scuccia said that by entering the contest she was following Pope Francis's appeal to bring the Roman Catholic Church closer to ordinary people.
