Beatles experts discuss rare songs

Dozens of rare Beatles tracks are being released from out-takes of classics to demos the band gave to other artists.

The 59 tracks are going on sale in what appears to be an attempt to prevent copyright protection expiring.

EU law protects recordings for 70 years, but only if they are officially released. The copyright of these tracks would have expired at the end of the year.

Beatles experts David Bedford and Phil Coppell spoke to BBC Breakfast about the recordings.
