Andy Warhol Bridge 'yarn bombed'

More than 1800 artists have gathered to cover the Andy Warhol Bridge in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in knitted creations.

Volunteers have produced almost 600 blankets to cover the bridge to honour the artist's 85th birthday.

Organisers say the project is the "largest yarn bomb in the US".

It will be on display until 6 September.
