JJ Abrams talks to BBC about his Star Trek sequel

Sci-fi sequel Star Trek Into Darkness has received positive reviews ahead of its opening in the UK and Ireland on 9 May.

The film, starring Chris Pine as Kirk and Zachary Quinto as Spock, had its UK premiere on Thursday in central London.

Director JJ Abrams told Will Gompertz he was never a Star Trek fan as a child but felt like one of them now.
