James Bond composer John Barry dies of heart attack

The composer John Barry, famous for his work on Born Free, Out of Africa and the James Bond films, has died in New York of a heart attack.

He was 77 years old.

He won five Academy Awards and four Grammy Awards, with scores for, among others, The Lion in Winter, Midnight Cowboy, Born Free, and Somewhere in Time.
