Soprano Dame Kiri is performing at the Proms in the Park

Dame Kiri Te Kanawa wowed the critics in 1966 in her debut at the Royal Opera House but she came to the attention of the world in 1981 when she performed at Charles and Diana's wedding.

Since then Dame Kiri has become one of the world's most celebrated sopranos - winning countless awards. BBC Breakfast finds out about her dedication to inspiring young talented opera stars of tomorrow and how she'll be performing with one of them in London for the BBC Proms in the Park.
