Joe Cocker on his new album 'Hard Knocks'

In 1968 a relatively unknown singer from Sheffield was propelled to pop stardom when his version of The Beatles' 'With A Little Help from My Friends' reached number one.

Now, more than 40 years on, the British blues legend Joe Cocker has had many hits from 'You Are So Beautiful' to 'Up Where We Belong'. He told BBC Breakfast about his journey from the early days as Vance Arnold.
