'Nobody has been able to control him'

The historian Simon Schama fears that a Donald Trump presidency may lend itself to a form of fascism.

He told the Today programme Donald Trump's "campaign of fanatical prejudice has triumphed" and will cause "massive, possibly irreversible damage to American free institutions".
