Paul Auster on US election: 'I am scared out of my wits'

Acclaimed US novelist Paul Auster says he feels "on the verge of a nervous breakdown" over the US presidential election.

Speaking to BBC Newsnight's Emily Maitlis, he was sharply critical of Donald Trump. "When Trump says 'Make America great again', he means 'make America white again,'" he said.
