US election 2016: Marco Rubio declares 'three-man race'

Marco Rubio says the Republican presidential nomination battle is a 'three-man race' after the South Carolina primary.

In the battle for second place behind frontrunner Donald Trump, the Florida senator holds a narrow lead over Ted Cruz with most of the votes counted.

Jeb Bush dropped out from the race after a disappointing finish but two other Republicans, John Kasich and Ben Carson, will continue campaigning.
