Sinn Féin's Gerry Adams dismisses DUP 'crocodile' remark

Sinn Féin's Gerry Adams has dismissed DUP leader Arlene Foster's "feed the crocodile" remark.

Alluding to Sinn Féin demands, she had told a party event: "If you feed a crocodile it will keep coming back for more."

Mrs Foster said she was not prepared to "reward bad behaviour, and to capitulate to manufactured demands".

Asked for a response, Mr Adams said: "See you later, alligator".
