Schools minister on why GCSE grades have dropped

There has been a significant drop in the number of teenagers getting a C grade or above in their GCSEs.

The overall proportion of entries achieving A* to C has declined from 69% to 66.9%. Top A* grades have slipped from 6.6% to 6.5%.

Schools Minister Nick Gibb spoke to the BBC's Annita McVeigh.
