The Great British Bake-Off attracts millions of viewers every week, but it seems young people are still reluctant to study cooking at school.

But exam chiefs are hoping to tempt thousands of pupils to take a revamped GCSE in food and the new qualification has attracted celebrity support.

Breakfast's Tim Muffett spoke to Heston Blumenthal about what children could learn from food science.
