Schools gain legal duty to prevent extremism

From Wednesday schools will be held legally responsible for preventing pupils from being drawn into terrorism.

Ministers want to challenge views on the internet, or within communities that could encourage terrorism or be exploited by terrorists.

The BBC's Robert Pigott has been assessing the scale of the problem and the readiness of schools to deal with it.
