Primary school places allocated as pupil numbers rise

Families across England will find out later which infant school their child will attend from this September.

For the first time, places at primary schools will all be allocated on the same day.

But high demand in some areas means many parents could miss out on their first choice of school, as Neil Bowdler reports.
