Former AQA examiner says retaking is ridiculous and unfair
More than 45,000 students will re-take their English GCSE exams in November after a row over this summer's results.
The exams regulator has admitted that pupils who took the tests in January were graded too generously in comparison to those who sat the papers in June.
John Neild said a re-sit was 'ridiculous' while Rebecca, Chase and Harrison from Morley Academy said they needed to take the exam again in order to get better results.
