Michael Gove 'cracking on' with education reforms

A focus on core academic subjects, tougher discipline and plans to retrain former troops as teachers are all part of the Government's vision for the future of education in England.

Critics including teaching unions, say they are worried about the pace of change and that some budgets will be cut.

The Education Secretary Michael Gove told BBC Breakfast that he made "no apology for cracking on" with reforming the system.
