The Bank of England is releasing 440 million new polymer £5 notes, designed to be harder to destroy.

Chief Cashier of the Bank of England Victoria Cleland brought one into the Today programme studio, where John Humphrys does his best to tear, soak, bite and otherwise ruin it.
