India's beef ban has affected many businesses - including traditional sandal makers

India supplies about 20% of the global beef demand and this supports many allied industries like leather products back home.

But a ban on the slaughter of cows, bulls and bullocks in many Indian states has severely affected many businesses.

One among them is the traditional Kolhapuri sandals in the western Indian Maharashtra state.
