EU referendum: Mark Carney accused of taking sides

The governor of the Bank of England Mark Carney has been accused of taking sides in the EU referendum debate.

Mr Carney told a committee of MPs that leaving the EU would affect Britain's financial stability in the short term.

This has led to criticism that he has breached the impartiality of the Bank of England.
