London is big investor in African businesses

It may be thousands of miles away from the continent, but much of the money that flows into Africa either originates in, or passes through, London.

Often seen as the place to raise capital, African companies have been listing on the London Stock Exchange since the 1930s and now London's debt markets are a favourite, too.

The BBC's Matthew Davies has more for Africa Business Report.
