HBOS collapse: 'Damning' report criticises top executives

A report into the collapse of the high street bank HBOS, says regulators should consider banning its former executives from working in financial services, including the former boss, Andy Hornby, and its chairman, Lord Stevenson.

HBOS collapsed in 2008, and was subsequently taken over by the Lloyds Banking Group, at a cost to the taxpayer of more than £20bn.
