Claims Management companies face thousands of complaints

Thousands of calls have been made to the Legal Ombudsman in just six months by people complaining about Claims Management companies (CMCs).

In January the Legal Ombudsman opened its doors to CMC customers.

The firms offer to get back money for customers who have been mis-sold payment protection insurance.

Most of the disputes were about costs.
