Harnessing technology to keep Asia's growing cities safe

By 2050, it is estimated that 65% of the world will live in a city in Asia.

But as urban populations keep rising, how do authorities keep millions of people safe? It seems technology is the answer.

Law enforcement agencies such as Interpol increasingly rely on corporate partners for more sophisticated equipment or surveillance equipment.

The BBC's Leisha Chi spoke to Peter Goulding, public safety specialist for Motorola Solutions and former Chief Superintendent of the London Metropolitan Police.
