Malaysia Airlines CEO reveals details of new company

The new CEO of Malaysia Airlines has moved to reassure the families of last year's twin Malaysia Airlines disasters that the company's rebranding will not affect them.

The airline was already struggling financially before MH370 disappeared en route to China in March 2014 and MH17 crashed while flying over Ukraine four months later.

Later this year, the old, technically bankrupt airline will be scrapped entirely, and replaced with a new, slimmed-down company.

Christoph Mueller spoke to the BBC's Michelle Fleury about the rebranding exercise and what customers should expect in the future.
