'How do you put an elephant in the fridge?'

Chinese telecommunications firm Huawei is working on a universal translator, where people can speak to each other in different languages, and the software translates meaning and not just words.

One of the company's top scientists, Prof Yang Qiang, told the BBC's chief business correspondent Linda Yueh how the software would translate a classic joke.
