Marriott plans Asian hotel expansion

The Marriott hotel chain expects to open a new hotel in Asia almost every week over the next three years.

Its aim is to double in size in Asia and cater to the growing number of Chinese tourists.

They have already become the biggest source of business for the Maldives islands in the Indian Ocean.

President of Marriott International Asia Pacific, Simon Cooper, spoke to Ali Moore in the Chinese city of Tianjin.
