Do conflicts provide opportunities for insurers?

Have recent conflicts provided an opportunity, or a threat, to insurers?

Bronek Masojada, chief executive of the insurance company Hiscox, told the Today programme's Justin Rowlatt that "in the short term volatility can be good, it can also be bad."
