Farnborough Airshow: BBC's Theo Leggett tries on a paramotor

Can't afford your own private jet? The BBC's Theo Leggett has a look at a lower-cost form of personal aviation - the paramotor.

On display at the Farnborough Airshow, the paramotor uses a 190cc motor with a propeller which can be connected to a paraglider wing.

The managing director of the company that makes them, Tom Prideaux-Brune of Parajet, says they have military as well as recreational uses.
