Morrisons to launch tracker showing past prices

Morrisons is to launch a price tracker service which will show the past prices of products online.

The "Price Checker" is intended to be a way for customers to check whether they are getting a good deal for items.

The move comes after the supermarket announced plans to slash prices after reporting falling sales.

Marketing and Customer Director Nick Collard told BBC Radio 5 live's Adam Parsons that introducing the tracker would be "an important part of building trust back up" with customers.
