Mobile operator 3 extends overseas roaming offer

Mobile phone operator Three has announced an extension of its scheme to allow customers to use their UK allowances overseas.

The company claim that it helps customers avoid bill shocks while they are abroad.

Three's CEO Dave Dyson told BBC Radio 5 live's Wake Up to Money: "They're aware that when they go overseas it is expensive and frustratingly, they have to turn off roaming."

"When they go overseas [now] they can continue to use their mobile in the same way that they would in the UK," he added.
