Fee cap plan the start of 'assault on pension charges'
The government is promising a "full frontal assault on pension charges" as it unveils its plan for a cap on some management fees.
The Treasury is consulting on its proposal to limit fees on auto-enrolment schemes at between 0.75% and 1%, which it says could save people tens of thousands of pounds.
Pensions minister Steve Webb told the BBC that the plan was just the "start" of the government's plans for pensions.
