Number of new homes in England being started up 6%

The number of new homes being built in England has gone up in the past three months.

Official figures show that work was started on almost 30,000 new homes between April and June this year, a 6% increase on the previous quarter.

The BBC's chief economics correspondent Hugh Pym reports.
