How to play with an intelligent octopus

Octopuses are believed to be very intelligent, mimicking other species in the wild and solving complex problems.

It has only been within the last three decades that technology has let people see octopuses' natural behaviour.

In captivity they need mental stimulation so they do not become distressed as Kerry Perkins, who researches marine life, explains.
