French economy returns to recession

France has entered its second recession in four years after the economy shrank by 0.2% in the first quarter of the year, official figures show.

It is bad news for the eurozone, for President Hollande who has just completed a year in power and most of all, it is bad news for those trying to make ends meet.

Christian Fraser reports from the Lot-et-Garonne region.
