HSBC's future: A smaller, stronger bank?

Banking giant HSBC's global reach helped it avoid the fate of bailed out rivals such as RBS at the height of the global economic crisis.

And with ongoing concerns over the financial health of the eurozone, the bank's leading position in Asia remains a key factor as it looks to the future.
