Violence flares amid Greece austerity strikes

There have been clashes in Greece between riot police and protesters venting their fury at government austerity measures.

Missiles were thrown at security forces, as workers took to the streets for a 48-hour strike.

Meanwhile, Greece's coalition has been hit by the resignations of four senior politicians over the latest planned spending cuts.

The BBC's Mark Lowen says that social unrest is growing in Greece.
