Is it fraud to re-use coupons?

A woman has been arrested for re-using a money off coupon several times in a branch of Sainsbury's.

Prosecutions have taken place before for vouchers but never coupons.

These money-off coupons are hugely popular - and it is estimated we used £500m worth in 2010.

But as with any good deal, people are being tempted to reprint, duplicate and reuse coupons.

Martin Croft is from Institute of Promotional Marketing - the body that oversees and promotes using vouchers and coupons in retail.

He says whilst he does not know if it is fraud he says "people must check terms and conditions on coupons".
