Small aviation firms struggle in UAE
From the economic downturn to uncertain fuel prices, it has been a difficult last few years for the aviation industry and while airlines have felt the pinch so too have the airports themselves.
In the UAE there are a smattering of smaller regional runways trying to survive. But with the giants of Abu Dhabi and Dubai handling almost all the passengers they are finding it hard to make money.
