Goldman Sachs quarterly profit falls

The investment bank Goldman Sachs has reported a fall in its quarterly profit. Fourth quarter income came in at $2.23bn (£1.3 bn).

Despite a pledge to be more transparent about how much money it makes from trading its own money, the bank is likely to come under fire for paying large bonuses. The annual bill is expected to be around $10bn.
