Irish government to open up accounts to IMF and Europe

The Irish government will open up its accounts to the International Monetary Fund, the European Commission and the European Central Bank.

A bailout of the heavily indebted country is drawing a step closer - despite its reluctance to take international aid. Ireland's huge debts have triggered a backlash in the financial markets - other members of the Euro are also threatened by the fallout.
