Greek budget deficit worse than thought

Greece's 2009 budget deficit was much worse than previously estimated, according to figures from the European Union.

Eurostat says the country's deficit was 15.4% of its annual economic output, rather than the the initial figure of 13.6% reported in April.

Greece said the figures would mean it would not be able to cut debts by as much as originally planned.

Malcolm Brabant reports from Athens.
