Spanish airline Iberia flies into profits

Spanish airline Iberia has flown back into the black, posting net profits of 31 millions euros, despite losing millions as a result of the Icelandic ash cloud disruption.

The company cut its costs extensively after seeing passenger numbers tumble during the economic downturn.
